DAVID REGAL is a writer and
magician living in LA. He is the author of the critically acclaimed book
Approaching Magic, in addition to
the best-selling Close-up &
Personal, Constant
Fooling (Volumes 1 and 2), and was the subject of Star Quality – The Magic of David Regal written by Harry Lorayne. An alumnus of the Main Company
of the comedy group Chicago City
Limits, Regal is a television writer who has written for shows
ranging from Rugrats to Everybody Loves Raymond.
David has performed at the
Magic Castle
literally hundreds of times, where he was named a trustee,
and is a recipient of the “Lecturer of the Year” award from the Academy of Magical Arts. Regals performing style
is hilariously funny and his capability to build comedy into his presentations
showcases his ability as both writer and
performer.
In 2008, Regal was the winning
magician/coach on the television series Celebra-cadabra. Tricks of his
design are performed around the world. He is a principle reviewer for both Genii
Magazine and newly formed Reel Magic DVD magazine where his comic reviews
are the highlight for many watchers.
I have been
trying to tempt David To Australia for almost 10 years; it is only due to
the date change that he is able to make it this time around. I make no
secret that I booked David because he's one of my favourite Magicians. Trust me,
he'll soon be one of yours.
PAT FALLON

Pat Fallon is an
Irish magician with an international reputation. For more than 20 years, Pat has
performed around Ireland, the UK and Europe for some of the biggest corporate
events and along with Ireland's biggest TV and music stars. In 1995, Pat was the
first non-British act to win to the British Magical Championships and since
then, his international reputation has bloomed with appearances at conventions
and magic clubs around the globe. In 2003, the Magic Circle bestowed on
Pat their highest honour, making him Gold Star Member of the Inner Magic
Circle.
Pat is truly a
master of all magic trades. His stage act features manipulation, livestock
and grand illusion, not to mention interactive comedy segments all delivered
with a charming Irish brogue. Away from the stage, Pat is just as confident
as a strolling close-up worker, trade show magician and kid's show
entertainer. Pat's newest release, "Magic for Older Children" has been a great
success. Pat will be lecturing in the finer points of this lucrative area of
business. Pat's close-up is no-nonsense commercial material and I know you
will all get material you can use.
With over 80 TV
appearances, Pat Fallon is without doubt Ireland's most successful and best
known magician. I have known him personally for over 20 years and I'm
delighted to finally be bringing him down
under.
DEAN ATKINSON

Dean Atkinson hails from London
and after a stint in Sydney now makes his home in Melbourne. Dean grew up
with Davenports Magic Shop, International and the London magic scene. In between
his work as an actor, (With many Australian TV series to his credit) Dean
has carved out a successful career as a corporate entertainer. He is a talented
and highly skilled close-up worker, has some strongly
theatrical twists on stand-up magic and is a talented and funny
ventriloquist.
Dean will soon be seen
on screen as a competitor on Australia's Got Talent. With our friends Soul
Mystique paving the way, its clear that a run of the mill magic act would need
something more. Expect to see Dean as a ventriloquist with his unique take on
the human dummy. Beyond that he's got some more tricks up his sleeve so we wish
him well.
Dean is another true
all-rounder who knows how to operate 'in the trenches' You can look forward
to some honest and useful advice as well as tricks which pass the test of
practicality. Dean is a friend and I'm delighted that he has agreed to be
part of Superday.
