Improvements and changes have been made to it over time but the basic plot remains the same.

A large die is placed into a 2 sided cabinet and supposedly vanished. The audience suspects the magician is simply hiding it behind a door. The sucker stuff is played out and the die is finally shown to be gone, only to turn up elsewhere.

This version takes a stack of the best ideas and melds them into what is not only a wonderful looking piece but also has to be one of the most deceptive ever. I've been fooling guys daily over the counter with this and to say that I recommend it is an understatement. A 6 sided cube (looking like a Rubic cube) is removed from a box which it completely fills. It can be shown on all sides (not a shell). It goes into the die box and wit the usual clunking and comedy, vanishes. 6 doors are opened so the box can be seen to be totally empty. The smaller box is re-opened to reveal the cube is back and again all 6 sides can be cleanly show.
